Agro Nord is a cooperation of independent farmers who jointly has made a purchase association.The purpose of the purchase association is to obtain the correct commodities - to the right price and at the right time - based on the individual farmers needs. This is done through coordination and targeted purchases by the coop.

Agro Nord has existed more than 20 years and from the very beginning we have worked hard to find new products which can help the individual farmer in his production. As an example Agro Nord was between the first to show that lactic acid bacteria could help against diarrhea. Furthermore Agro Nord is specialist in the use of alternative feeds. So we are always open for suppliers with a good alternative to the present feeds.

Agro Nord has at present time 46 members and more are joining.
These 46 farmers have combined approximately 25.000 sows, 700.000 piglets and 400.000 slaughterpigs. Moreover they account for approximately 15.000 acres of land.
